I’m delighted to share the news of a poetry anthology written by 25 poets to help DEC Ukraine by donating all money from the anthology to their appeal.
I am proud to be one of poets. Please spread the word about the anthology as we need thousands of people to buy it so that thousands of pounds can be raised for this appeal. Not all poems in ‘United for Ukraine’ are about Ukraine or its people but all of them focus on hope. We wanted to tell the Ukrainian people that they are not forgotten and their fight for democracy is supported by millions of people around the world.
This anthology is our small contribution to them all.United for Ukraine, an anthology of prose and poetry to raise money for the people of Ukraine, is a celebration of hope and solidarity featuring work by Maggie Yaxley Smith, Fiona O’Brien, Clare Law, Margaret Beston, Linda James and many more.
Edited by Susan Norvill, an editor and writer based in Kent. She was a reporter before serving as Editor of The Hong Kong Industrialist in the 1990s, in which capacity she also wrote speeches for members of the Hong Kong government. She worked in financial editing in the City for many years and has written a column for BBC Kent and various other publications.
